The Friends of the Museum have held their first post-pandemic Study Evening since the Museum's re-opening. Major Paul Knight, SO2 Historical Analysis for the British Army and more importantly for us, an absolute expert on the 47th Regiment of Foot (later 1st Loyals), gave an absorbingly detailed account of the 47th's considerable adventures during the American War of Independence. Good turn-out of members for what turned out to be a very good evening.
