SAS Ladies are our secret weapon

Lancashire Infantry Museum

Caring for the Lancashire Infantry Museum's massive collection is a never-ending task which wouldn't be possible without our volunteers. One overdue task now being undertaken involves the deep cleaning of the archives. This is delicate work requiring careful handling of sometimes fragile items. For this we need our 'secret weapon' - the ladies of the Salmesbury Art Society. Here are Diane Davies, Ann Shearman, Norma Thorpe, and Wendy Dearden at work in the South Lancashire Regiment archive, carefully taking down, inspecting, and brush-cleaning every single album and item.
