The Ogilby Muster (TOM) on-line archive went live today. This major project, which has taken 4 years to complete, covers the period from 1900 to 1929, including the Boer War and First World War. For the first time, some 700,000 documents and objects held by 75 British Regimental collections, including ours, can be viewed on-line. The Lancashire Infantry Museum alone contributed nearly 70,000 items, and it took a big effort by our museum staff and volunteers, over several months, to do it.
