Dutch/German border. Easter Day. 1st East Lancashires liberate the Dutch border town of Glanerburg, minutes after Germans withdraw. Despite still-active snipers, exuberant crowds mob the troops and delay them reaching their objectives. Dutch Resistance instantaneously round up collaborators and girls who had been too friendly with the occupiers have their heads shaved in public.
